Commensacq ( Occitan : Comensac ) is a French municipality with 432 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of land in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (2015: Aquitaine ). Commensacq belongs to the arrondissement of Mont-de-Marsan and is part of the canton of Haute Lande Armagnac (until 2015: canton of Sabers ). The inhabitants are called Commensacais .

geography

Commensacq is located about 59 kilometers north-northwest of Mont-de-Marsan and about 26 kilometers east of the Atlantic coast. Commensacq is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Pissos in the north and northeast, Trensacq in the east, Sabers in the south and southeast, Solférino in the southwest and Labouheyre in the west.
