Heinz Blume (politician, 1919)
Heinz Blume (born November 7, 1919 in Berlin-Lichtenberg , † April 7, 1997 in Berlin ) was a German politician ( SPD ).
Heinz Blume attended secondary school and did a commercial apprenticeship. He became a businessman . In 1940 he was drafted into the Wehrmacht during World War II .
After the war, in 1945, Blume became a school helper in the school administration in Berlin's Friedrichshain district and joined the SPD. Since Wilhelm Mardus was elected district mayor of Friedrichshain, Blume was able to move up to the city council of Greater Berlin in February 1947 . In the subsequent Berlin election in 1948 he was re-elected until he left parliament at the end of 1950.
