Deneb Algenubi ( Arabic ذنب الجنوبي, DMG ḏanab al-ǧanūbī  'southern tail (fin)') is the name of the star η Ceti (Eta Ceti) in the constellation whale . The star belongs to the spectral class K2 IIIb, has an apparent brightness of +3.45 mag and is about 115 light years away. Other name: Algenudi.
