Eugene Bock

Friedrich Wilhelm Eugen Bock (born June 18, 1816 in Weißensee (Thuringia) , † January 21, 1888 in Berlin ) was a German politician .

Bock served in the Prussian army, was second lieutenant at the engineering school in Berlin from 1837 to 1849, then first lieutenant, captain, lieutenant colonel and from 1868 colonel.

From May 26, 1848 to May 20, 1849, Bock was a member of the Frankfurt National Assembly for the province of Westphalia in Gütersloh . He was a member of the casino faction . From May 29 to July 19, 1849 he was commander of the Reich Corps in Baden .
