NGC 4250 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type SB0 / a in the constellation Dragon in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 96 million light-years from the Milky Way and about 75,000 light-years across.
The object was discovered by Wilhelm Herschel on April 7, 1793 .
