NGC 4275 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sb in the constellation Coma Berenices the northern sky . It is estimated to be 103 million light years from the Milky Way and about 35,000 light years in diameter. Together with 2MASX J12195094 + 2736102 it forms an optical pair of galaxies.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies IC 3135 , IC 3165 , IC 3168 , IC 3172 .
The object was discovered by Wilhelm Herschel on April 11, 1785 .
