IC 3165 is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBb with an active galaxy core in the constellation Coma Berenices in the northern sky . It is an estimated 371 million light years from the Milky Way and about 210,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 4295 , IC 3168 , IC 3172 , IC 3193 .
The object was discovered by Max Wolf on March 23, 1903 .
