IC 3185 is a galaxy in the constellation Haar der Berenike in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 321 million light years from the Milky Way and about 30,000 light years in diameter. Together with IC 3189 , it forms an optical pair of galaxies. The galaxies IC 3169 , IC 3171 , IC 3176 , IC 3194 are located in the same area of the sky .
The object was discovered by Max Wolf on March 23, 1903 .
