IC 3155 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type S0 in the constellation Virgo on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 99 million light years away from the Milky Way and about 35,000 light years in diameter. Together with NGC 4269 , it forms the galaxy pair Holm 365 . It is listed as a member of the Virgo galaxy cluster under the catalog name VCC 366 . In the same area of ​​the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 4260 , NGC 4261 , NGC 4264 , IC 3136 .

The object was discovered by Auguste Voigt in June 1865 .
