NGC 4255 is a Lenticular Galaxy of the Hubble type SB0 in the constellation Virgo on the ecliptic . The galaxy is estimated to be 85 million light years away from the Milky Way and about 30,000 light years across . She is listed as a member of the Virgo galaxy cluster under catalog number VCC 312 .
