Eugene Drewello

Gottfried Eugen Samuel Drewello (born January 22, 1825 in Worplack , Kr. Rößel , † March 11, 1876 in Johannisberg near Lyck ) was a German administrative lawyer and parliamentarian in East Prussia.

Life

Drewello attended high school in Rastenburg and studied law at the Albertus University in Königsberg . Like many high school graduates from his school, he became active in the Corps Masovia with Count Lehndorff in the winter semester of 1844/45 . On June 4, 1867 he became provisional, and in 1869 he became district administrator in the Lyck district . From 1870 to 1873 Drewello sat for the constituency of Gumbinnen 6 (Oletzko, Lyck, Johannisburg) in the Prussian House of Representatives . In the first two sessions he belonged to the faction of the Conservative Party , in the third session of the New Conservative Group. On June 11, 1875, he was released on request (probably because of illness). He died in 1876 at the age of 51.
