Eugen Munder

Eugen Munder (born October 9, 1899 in Stuttgart , † November 20, 1952 ) was a Gauleiter of the NSDAP .

After attending elementary school, he attended the military school in Jena. Then in 1916 he took up service with the 14th Infantry Regiment in Nuremberg. In 1917/18 he took part in the First World War as a member of a volunteer corps. From 1919 Munder was active in agitation for the Deutschvölkischer Schutz- und Trutzbund in Gaildorf .

On April 15, 1925, he joined the NSDAP with membership number 1835. He took over the chairmanship of the Stuttgart local group. In the same year he is said to have also become Gauleiter of the Württemberg district.

After criticizing Hitler's lifestyle in 1927 , he was dismissed as Gauleiter in January 1928. On January 12, 1928, he resigned from the NSDAP. His successor as Gauleiter was Wilhelm Murr .

Two new applications in 1933 were rejected. On August 1, 1935, however, he was able to re-enter.

After the Second World War he worked for the AOK Stuttgart.
