Eugene Victor

Eugen Victor (born August 27, 1936 in Vienna ) is an Austrian actor , director and speech coach.

Life

After graduating from high school, Eugen Victor completed an acting and directing training at the Krauss Drama School in Vienna , as well as piano and singing training. In 1958 he was engaged at the Münster Theater. As a result, he had permanent engagements in Germany and Lucerne for 44 years . In 1979 he was brought to the Landestheater Linz by Alfred Stögmüller , where he played until his retirement in 2001. Since then, Victor has been working as a freelancer and continues to perform, around 2017/18 in the Linz grandstand . He has staged 43 pieces so far, mainly drama and operetta .

He was also active as a radio play speaker in 120 pieces for ORF , as well as in film and television, as well as teaching assignments for speech training and role studies. He always advocated Austrian in the language of the theater. Victor lives in Linz .
