Andrew Eugene Sseppuya (but often also Eugene Sepuya ; born April 1, 1983 in Kampala ) is a Ugandan soccer player who was last active in 2016 for FK Jedinstvo Bijelo Polje and between 2007 and 2010 in the Ugandan national soccer team .

Club career

Sseppuya started his career at Sport Club Villa in Uganda. He later moved to the United States to play at Alabama A&M College. His first professional club were the Colorado Rapids , for which he only played one game. In 2005 Sseppuya moved to the Virginia Beach Mariners , who played in the USL First Division . Eugene Sseppuya joined the Armenian club FC Banants Yerevan in 2007 , where he was awarded a two-year contract. After he did not play a game for the club, the contract was terminated. After a year without a club, he signed with FK Vojvodina Novi Sad . During the winter break of 2008/09 he went to FK Čukarički .

On October 3, 2009 he signed a one-year contract with FK Mladi Radnik. On March 16, 2010 Sseppuya signed a contract with the Lithuanian club FK Sūduva Marijampolė , for which he played for three months. In August 2010, he signed a contract with the North Queensland Fury .

National team

Eugene Sseppuya made at least seven international matches for Uganda from 2007 to 2010 , including five appearances and two goals in qualifying for the 2010 World Cup .
