Eugenio Romero pose
Eugenio Romero Pose (born March 15, 1949 in Baio , A Coruña , Spain ; † March 25, 2007 ) was auxiliary bishop in the Archdiocese of Madrid and professor of theology and philosophy .
Life
Eugenio Romero Pose was ordained a priest in Madrid on July 27, 1974 by Angel Suquía Goicoechea . Eugenio Romero Pose was Professor of Theology and Philosophy at the Instituto Teológico Compostelano (ITC) of the Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca from 1981 to 1997, and from 1980 to 1990 he was visiting professor at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome . From 1991 to 1997 he was the reign of the seminary in Santiago de Compostela . He was involved in numerous national and international bodies.
In 1997 he was appointed titular bishop of Turuda by John Paul II and auxiliary bishop in Madrid . The episcopal ordination on May 1, 1997 took place by the later Cardinal Antonio María Rouco Varela , Archbishop of Madrid; Co- consecrators were Cardinal Angel Suquía Goicoechea , Archbishop of Madrid, and Elías Yanes Álvarez , Archbishop of Saragossa.
He died at the age of 58 of complications from cancer.
