history

There are two theories about the origin of the place name “Eurastetten”. One says that the name can be traced back to “Vrinstetten”, the “place of iron”. The other names 1195 to 1200 as Vrinstetten. The place name probably goes back to the name of a person and referred to the courtyards of a "Uro".

In 1253, Berthold von Rottbach hands over the Eurastetten bailiwick to Duke Ludwig II.

Around 1440, the Dachau regional court mentions that Eurastetten is owned by the Schäftlarn monastery .

The property in Eurasstetten is described in Eurastteten 1752 with three properties. In 1818 Eurastetten becomes a part of the municipality of Oberweikertshofen . A census from December 1, 1900 counted 16 men and 12 women.

In the course of the regional reform in 1978, the municipality of Oberweikertshofen and thus also Eurastetten became part of the municipality of Egenhofen .
