history
The company was founded in 1965 by three catering wholesalers - among them the Eurogast Sinnesberger ( Kirchdorf / Tyrol ) and Eurogast Almauer ( Steyr / Upper Austria ) companies, which are still active today . In the first ten years, three other companies joined the Eurogast Group: Eurogast Pilz from Gmünd in Lower Austria in 1968 and the two Tyrolean companies Eurogast Grissemann from Zams and Eurogast Riedhart from Wörgl in 1973. Eurogast Speckbacher in ( Reutte / Tyrol ) and Eurogast Zuegg ( Nussdorf / East Tyrol ) in western Austria. In 1972 the Carinthian Legro ( Klagenfurt / Carinthia ) and Eurogast Landmarkt, based in Liezen and Schladming, were incorporated . In 2011 the companies Eurogast Kiennast from Gars am Kamp in Lower Austria and Vienna and in 2014 Eurogast Interex (2014) from Buch-St. Magdalena (near Hartberg in Styria). The group of companies is therefore one of the largest catering wholesalers in Austria with eleven partner companies.
