Euromaxx is a magazine on the international television of Deutsche Welle (DW). The lifestyle magazine can be received by over 200 million households worldwide in the DW-TV program . In addition, 53 partner stations around the world handle the German and 189 the English broadcasts ( Euromaxx ). Since February 6, 2012 the magazine has also been produced in Spanish ( Euromaxx ) and Arabic (يوروماكس) . The magazine reports from all areas of popular culture: architecture, music, fashion, design, art, photography, food and drink, culinary art, travel and much more are part of the range of topics - presented in portraits, reports and reports from Germany and Europe. Euromaxx is active in social networks on Youtube, Facebook and Instagram with additional, exclusive content.

Charisma

The roughly half-hour program has been produced once a week on DW-TV since February 2, 2019 in a German, English, Spanish and Arabic version and repeated several times. The magazine thus reaches all target regions of German international television at prime time on the weekend. Previously there was the program under the title "Euromaxx - Life and Culture in Europe" as a daily magazine, it was started on June 30, 2003. The weekly produced Euromaxx highlights were also broadcast from summer 2010 to February 2017 in the ONE program, formerly Einsfestival , an additional offer of ARD in digital satellite and cable TV as well as in IPTV (ARD Digital).

Moderators

The moderators Collien Ulmen-Fernandes , Evelyn Sharma , Meike Krüger and Max Merrill will moderate the German and English editions of Euromaxx. Meggin Leigh Doody can only be seen in English as the presenter. Valentina Torrad and Francisco Javier Velasco Dellafiori will host the Spanish program. Euromaxx in Arabic will be moderated by Ghalieh Daghstani.

Former presenters of the German program are: Kristina Sterz, Linda Bethke, Corinna Wolters, Karen Webb , Laura Dünnwald and Karin Helmstedt, who originally only presented the English edition. Other former presenters are Louise Houghton, Robin Merrill , Anne O'Donnel, Sandra Maria Gronewald , Carlos McConnie and Dina Gouda.

Former series and series

Euromaxx series and series such as 50 kitchens, one home, Europe's new fashion designers, border crossings, the Christmas baker, wanted new world wonders or sporty through Europe were awarded prizes. "Euromaxx" has received numerous international television awards. The program's design concept received the renowned “Red Dot Award” in 2017 and also received an award at the “German Design Award”. The series “50 kitchens, one home” was awarded at the “WorldMediaFestival” in Hamburg in 2018. The Euromaxx web video "Bewegtes Land" has won several awards, including a "Lovie Award" 2018 and an award at the "Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards" in the same year. Previously, the show received the "Hot Bird TV Award" in Venice and several awards at the "New York Festivals", at the "WorldFest" in Houston and at the "WorldMediaFestival" in Hamburg.
