The EurothermenResort Bad Hall is a thermal bath and hotel complex in Bad Hall in Upper Austria .
history
The first small bathing establishment was founded in Bad Hall in 1826. In 1827 the water was analyzed for the first time and a high iodine content was found. In 1837 the doctor Josef Starzengruber obtained the first bathing regulations from the state government.
It was not until the state of Upper Austria took over the mineral spring in 1855 that an extensive spa could be established. Since 1876 the place has been labeled as a bath . Bad Hall experienced a further boom with the opening of the Kremstalbahn in 1882.
After setbacks from wars and the global economic crisis , a modern spa was established in 1948. In 2007 and 2008, 27 million euros were invested in the renovation and expansion of the thermal baths.
The General Director of Eurothermen Resorts was Markus Achleitner , and Thomas Prenneis succeeded him in this role on December 1, 2018.

For the purpose of joint strategic positioning, the thermal baths, together with the thermal baths in Bad Schallerbach and Bad Ischl, belong to the EurothermenResorts umbrella brand of OÖ Thermenholding GmbH, Upper Austria's largest tourism company. It is 100% owned by a holding company from the Province of Upper Austria .
Infrastructure
The resort is divided into the Thermenhotel Miraverde , the Kurhotel Vitana , the thermal bath Mediterrana , the sauna world Relaxium and the health center Physikarium . All sub-areas are interconnected. There are 35 hectares of parkland around it.
Thermenhotel Miraverde
The 4-star Hotel Miraverde is located in the middle of a 35 hectare park and has single and double rooms as well as suites in various categories. The wellness area has relaxation areas, a sauna and a steam bath, as well as an indoor thermal pool with water at 32 degrees. The restaurant offers 5-course menus or themed and specialty buffets in the evening.
Spa hotel Vitana
The Kurhotel Vitana is specially designed for spa guests and offers various health packages as well as spa packages. The guests are also accommodated in the most famous Art Nouveau building in Upper Austria - the Landesvilla. It is possible there to spend the cure together with your own dog.
Therme Mediterrana
In keeping with its name, the Mediterrana thermal bath has Mediterranean architecture and is divided into the following areas:
