Eva Brunner-Szabo

Eva Brunner-Szabo (born May 27, 1961 in Oberwart ; † March 2, 2012 ) was an Austrian photographer and multi-media artist .

Life

Eva Brunner-Szabo attended the HBLA for economic women's professions in Oberwart from 1975 to 1980 and completed a degree in communication sciences at the University of Vienna from 1981 , which she completed with a doctorate in 1990. From 1991 she worked for the Medienwerkstatt Wien - studio for video, multimedia, film and from 1993 worked as curator of VIDEO-EDITION-AUSTRIA. Since 1995 she has carried out joint projects with Gert Tschögl, which took place from 2000 under the label memoryPROJECTS. In 1996/97 she trained as a multi-media producer at the SAE Institute in Vienna and was a lecturer at the University of Vienna from 1996 to 2004. In 2004 she became a curator and co-founder of the INDEX DVD label.
