Eva Demmerle

Eva Demmerle (born December 18, 1967 ) is an author, former office manager and press spokeswoman for Otto von Habsburg .

Life

Eva Demmerle studied history, politics, economics and Catholic theology in Bonn , Siegen and Paris . In 1995 she became Parliamentary Assistant to Otto von Habsburg during his last term in office as a member of the European Parliament. After his retirement in 1999, she headed his office until his death in 2011 and acted as press officer and political advisor. Through her work, she was able to access the family archive and publish previously unknown documents in their biographies about Emperor Karl and Otto von Habsburg. Her work has been translated into several languages. In 2012 she was press spokeswoman for the Limburg bishop Franz-Peter Tebartz-van Elst for three months . Demmerle has been self-employed with its own agency for fundraising and strategic communication since 2014. In 2018 she took on a lectureship in advertising and media psychology at the IST University of Management and is a freelance lecturer in fundraising. She lives and works in Feldafing on Lake Starnberg .

Eva Demmerle is a Familiar of the Teutonic Order .
