Eva Jeler
Eva Jeler (born October 1, 1953 in Ljubljana ) is a Slovenian table tennis trainer and former table tennis player. She became known as the head coach of the German Table Tennis Association (DTTB).

On October 1, 1977, the qualified biologist accepted a position as an association trainer in the Bavarian Table Tennis Association . Since 1983 she worked for the DTTB; At first she trained the young people and students here. From 1989 to 1996 she was head coach as the successor to Charles Roesch . During this time, the German team achieved three European Championship titles (1992: Jörg Roßkopf ; 1996: Nicole Struse and the women's team). From autumn 1996, Jeler coordinated youth work with a focus on DTTZ Heidelberg, and at the end of December 2011 she became head coach in the women's area, and later also for boys. She will retire in August 2020. Chris Pfeifer is his successor.
Active career
Eva Jeler played for the Olympia Ljubljana club. From 1971 to 1977 she was a Yugoslav national player. She played twice for Yugoslavia in a world championship: 1973 and 1975 . In 1976 she was third with the team at the European Championships ; She also took part in the European Championships in 1972 and 1974 . Because of a knee injury, she ended her active career in competitive sports in 1977.
Private
Eva Jeler is married to her husband Altfried Kösters (formerly managing director of the Tischtennis-Fördergesellschaft) and has a daughter named Dora (* 1986).
