Eva Maaser

Eva Maaser (born November 23, 1948 in Reken , Westphalia ) is a German novelist and crime writer.

Maaser studied German , pedagogy , theology and art history in Münster and lives in Steinfurt, Westphalia . So far, your novels are all set in Westphalia. She has been a freelance writer since 1999, and in 2006 she received the Steinfurt District Culture Prize. She is a member of the Association of German Writers in ver.di , has been a member of the North Rhine-Westphalia State Executive Committee since 2006 and was elected Chairwoman of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia on April 25, 2009; she held this office until June 2016. Her successor in office was Volker W. Degener .
