Eva Stanienda

Eva Stanienda (born August 1, 1937 in Bielefeld ) is a German politician ( CDU ). She was a member of the Baden-Württemberg state parliament from 1996 to 2001.

Life and work

Stanienda graduated from the Ursuline High School in Bielefeld and then studied medicine in Munich , Bonn , Innsbruck and Freiburg . In 1968 she received her license and received her doctorate a year later. She specialized in gynecology and obstetrics and opened her own practice in 1980, which she ran until 2005. From 2000 to 2006 she was chairwoman of the Baden-Württemberg state association of donum vitae . Stanienda is Catholic, married and has two children.

politics

Stanienda was 1989-1996 member of the municipal council of Stuttgart as well as 18 years deputy chairman of the CDU district association. From 1996 to 2001 she was a member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg, in which she represented constituency 1 Stuttgart I. She was a health and sports policy spokesperson.

Honors

Stanienda was awarded the Hartmannbund's Friedrich Schiller Medal in 1996 and the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon in 2004.
