The Evangelical Church Türkismühle is a church building of the Evangelical church Nohfelden in Türkismühle , a district of the Saarland community Nohfelden , St. Wendel district . The parish is assigned to the parish of Obere Nahe of the Evangelical Church in the Rhineland . In the list of monuments of the Saarland, the church is a single monument listed.

Church building

The church building is on Trierer Straße in the immediate vicinity of the cemetery of Türkismühle and forms a building ensemble with this and the Catholic Church of St. Ignatius .

The church was built between 1958 and 1959 according to plans by the architect Heinrich Otto Vogel .

The external appearance of the unplastered, sandstone- built sacred building is a combination of the symbols of ship and castle .

organ

The organ of the church was built in 1963 by the Oberlinger company ( Windesheim ). The slider chests -instrument has 6 registers , spread over a keyboard and pedal . The playing and stop action is mechanical.
