Evangelical Church Dirlammen
The Evangelical Church Dirlammen is a listed church building in Dirlammen , a district of the Lautertal community in the Vogelsbergkreis ( Hesse ).
History and architecture
The previous church in the churchyard had fallen into disrepair . The construction of the picturesque, partly shingled half-timbered church with a three-sided end began in 1704. The building is crowned by a dainty bonnet lantern. The wooden portal is carved. In the vessel a is flat ceiling retracted in unison rests a wooden vault with ribs on Gothicising wall services. The tower cock was put on in 1705. The church is the oldest building in the village.

The pulpit, galleries and organ date from the time the church was built
- Pulpit with statues of evangelists
- Galleries with parapet paintings
- Organ with a cartilage
- Baptismal font from 1633 with tracery panels (from the previous church)
- Two bells and the clock mechanism also come from the previous church . This was in service until the turn of the millennium and has been restored on display in the church
