Ewald Stübinger

Ewald Stübinger (* 1956 in Lanzendorf ) is a German Protestant theologian and has been a professor of Protestant theology at the Helmut Schmidt University in Hamburg since 2007, paying special attention to social ethics and the history of theology .

Life

From 1978 to 1984 Stübinger studied Protestant theology, philosophy and education in Neuendettelsau , Munich , Hamburg and Vienna , where he received his doctorate in 1990 . From 1987 to 1993 he was vicar and pastor in Utting and Munich. From 1993 to 1997 he was a research assistant at the Institute Technology - Theology - Natural Sciences (TTN) at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . From 1997 to 2007 he was a military and university chaplain at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich (including teaching position in Christian social ethics). After completing his habilitation in 2005 at the Augustana University in Neuendettelsau , he was a private lecturer and chair representative for systematic theology with a focus on ethics from 2005 to 2007.
