Ewald von Pfeil

Ewald Friedrich Gotthard Count von Pfeil and Klein-Ellguth (born December 19, 1824 in Kreisewitz ; † October 2, 1889 ibid) was a Silesian majorate on Kreisewitz and a politician.

Life

Ewald Friedrich Gotthard Count von Pfeil and Klein-Ellguth came from a noble Silesian family. From 1845 to 1859 he was in military service, which he left with the rank of captain. He was a member of the provincial parliament of the province of Silesia, at times the provincial elder , he was involved in local politics in the district council and in the district committee.

By a substitute election on August 20, 1869, he was a member of the constituency of Breslau 4 ( Namslau , Brieg ) in the Reichstag of the North German Confederation from 1869 to 1871 . This also made him a member of the Customs Parliament . He was oriented towards the Catholic clergy and remained non-attached in the Reichstag. From 1886 to 1889 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives . In the House of Representatives he joined the faction of the German Conservative Party . He belonged to the Reich Association of the German Social Party .
