Ewan Douglas

Ewan Campbell Kennedy Douglas (born November 14, 1922 in Edinburgh , † December 29, 1999 in Spain ) was a British hammer thrower .

In 1948 he was eliminated from the qualification at the Olympic Games in London, in 1950 he was eighth at the European Athletics Championships in Brussels , and in 1952 he did not get beyond the preliminary round at the Olympic Games in Helsinki again.

In 1954 he won bronze for Scotland at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Vancouver and came 15th at the European Championships in Bern .

At the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Cardiff in 1958 , he was ninth.

In 1955 he became English champion. In the same year he set his personal best on April 28 in Edinburgh with 58.67 m.
