Ewan Pearson
Ewan Pearson (born April 1, 1972 in Kidderminster , United Kingdom ) is a British DJ and musician in the field of electronic dance music. He is also known by the pseudonyms Maas , Sulky Pup , Villa America , World of Apples and Dirtbox .
Career
Pearson has been releasing records under various pseudonyms since 1995. Pearson has made numerous remixes for artists such as Seelenluft , Ladytron , Depeche Mode , The Rapture , Goldfrapp , and The Chemical Brothers .
In 1999 his book Discographies: dance music, culture and the politics of sound was published , which he wrote with Jeremy Gilbert. He appears as a speaker at festivals and music conferences and writes a column for the music magazine Groove .
As a DJ, Pearson regularly appears in clubs such as We Love Space , the Panoramabar , Robert Johnson and The Loft . Several DJ mix albums were released.
