Experience Electric is the 1997 studio album by British hard rock band Skin . It is the third studio album released in Europe, but the group’s fourth overall. In fact, many tracks from the album “Big Fat Slice Of Life” previously released in Japan were reused for “Experience Electric” .

After the failure of their second album Lucky , the band lost their record deal with Parlophone . Since their contract for Japan was still valid, the group recorded the album "Big Fat Slice Of Life" for the local market. From this album the tracks "Blow My Mind," "Shine Like Diamonds," "Tripping," "Love Like Suicide," "Winners And Losers," "Bittersweet," "Pleasure" and "Blue Wave" for "Experience Electric." “Revised; "Blue Wave" turned into the title track of the album, which became the group's third studio album released in Europe.

"Experience Electric" reached the British album charts (number 72), but left the hit list only a week later. Jason Ankeny from Allmusic gave the album three out of five stars and wrote in his brief review: "Experience Electric delivers crisp guitars and bone-shaking metal energy that fans of Pantera and Sepultura might like."
