Lucky is the second studio album by British hard rock band Skin , released in 1995 .

background

After the success of their debut album , which reached the top ten of the British charts and of which the single Money also made it into the hit list, Skin had released a live album in Japan entitled Absolutely Live At The Borderline , which should serve as a gap filler only contained cover versions of numerous tracks by bands such as Van Halen , Led Zeppelin and Fleetwood Mac and in Great Britain only as a limited supplement to Kerrang magazine ! was available.

The group then recorded the album Lucky , which contained 14 tracks. Two singles were released: How Lucky You Are and Perfect Day .

reception

Lucky reached number 38 on the British album charts, the singles reached number 32 ( How Lucky You Are ) and number 33 ( Perfect Day ). Despite this success, Parlophone's record deal was canceled, leaving Skin without a contract in Europe. In Japan, however, her contract continued.
