Ezekiel Britschgi

Ezekiel Britschgi (born  April 15, 1917 in Lucerne ; †  April 20, 2006 in Flühli ; actually Arthur Britschgi ) was a member of the Capuchin Order and a Swiss writer .

Life

Arthur Britschgi studied Catholic theology and became a member of the Capuchin Order, where he took the religious name Ezekiel . In Lucerne he worked for the youth pastoral care , worked as a house missionary and built up the Spanish pastoral care . In 1974 he took over the parish of Flühli in Entlebuch as pastor , where he was in office until 2003 and where he also spent the last days of his life. From 1981 to 1986 he was also known as the speaker of the word for the day on Radio DRS 1 .
