Füchtenfeld is a village in the unified community Wietmarschen in Lower Saxony Grafschaft Bentheim . The place with about 680 inhabitants is north of Wietmarschen on the district road 38. The A 31 runs to the east . North directly afterwards is the 1,580 hectare large nature reserve Dalum Wietmarscher Moor .

Churches

The evangelical refuge church is a church building specially built for displaced people in the 1960s .
The Catholic Church of the Holy Cross , a branch church of St. Johannes Apostel Wietmarschen, was de-dedicated in June 2010 and demolished in October 2010 (see list of churches in the Diocese of Osnabrück ).

In Füchtenfeld there is a rhododendron forest that is over sixty years old and accessible free of charge . It belongs to the Germer tree nursery and has been a listed building since 1986 (see also list of rhododendron parks ).
