The FC fishing 02 is a joint football club of several places in the Schleswig-Flensburg district in Schleswig-Holstein . The first team's venue is Steinfeld . In the 2014/15 season, the team played in the Schleswig-Holstein League .
history
In the spring of 2002, the football departments of the parent clubs Borener SV , SG Thumby , TSV Böel-Mohrkirch and TSV Schleiharde merged to form FC fishing 02. The newly founded club offers at least one performance and one fun team in every age group.
Women's soccer
The first women's team has been playing in the fourth-class Schleswig-Holstein league since it was promoted in 2009 . Also in 2009, the team reached the final of the Schleswig-Holstein Cup , which was lost to TSV Nahe with 1: 4. Since TSV closed its women's football department at the end of the season, FCAngling 02 was allowed to move up into the DFB Cup . In the first round, the team was defeated by the second division club Blau-Weiß Hohen Neuendorf 0: 9.
Men's soccer
After the merger, the first men's team of FC fishing 02 experienced a rapid upswing. After promotion to the district league in 2005, the march into the district league followed a year later. In 2008 the team was promoted to the sixth class Verbandsliga Schleswig-Holstein, in which, after relegation in 2011, they were promoted again in 2012. Two years later they were promoted to the Schleswig-Holstein League, from which they had to relegate in 2015 as bottom of the table.
