He was nationally successful in the 1930s and played in 1934/35 in the top division of the time, the Gauliga Baden . The first team has been playing in the district league in the Bruchsal football district since the 2017/18 season .

history

The team of the club, founded on September 6, 1906 under its current name, only played an important national role for a short time. In the game year 1933/34, FC Germania first became champions of the Central Baden district league and, in the subsequent qualifying games, also champions of all Baden district leagues. This made the promotion to the Gauliga Baden perfect. Karlsdorf in the Bruchsal district, which at that time had barely 2000 inhabitants , was one of the smallest communities ever to be represented in the top German league. The fact that FC Germania also played exclusively with local players in the 1934/35 round was another remarkable achievement. In the 18 games against such well-known opponents as Karlsruher FV , Phönix Karlsruhe and VfB Mühlburg , which later merged to form KSC , against VfR Mannheim , SV Waldhof or FC Freiburg , FC Germania proved to have no chance and was immediately relegated as the penultimate.

In the 1960s and 1970s, FC Germania Karlsdorf played at times in the second highest amateur league and was relay champion in the 2nd amateur league in Central Baden in 1964/65; In the ascent to the North Baden amateur upper house, however, the Karlsdorfer narrowly failed.

In the recent past, FC Germania Karlsdorf played in the leagues of the Bruchsal football district, in the 2013/14 season in the district class A, the second team played in the district class C. In 2015, both the A-Juniors and the C-Juniors have won the district cup.

After its establishment, FC Germania initially played on the local dragoon parade ground. 1933 the inauguration of the club area Lußhardt in Forster Wald took place. In 1955 they moved into today's area on Kohlfahrtstraße in the center of the village.
