The Karvan İdman Klubu (German and international: FK Karvan Yevlax and Karvan FK ) is an Azerbaijani football club from Yevlax .

history

FK Karvan was founded in 2004. Because of the regional development program of the Azerbaijani Football Association, they were directly eligible to play for the Premyer Liqası , the top division of Azerbaijan. There they immediately knew how to convince and were third in the table in the first season, 2 points behind. In the following season, 2005/06, they even managed to place second and thus qualify for the UEFA Cup . After two 1-0 wins against FC Spartak Trnava in the first round, they played in the second round against Slavia Prague , which turned out to be too strong, and after a 2-0 defeat and a 0-0 draw, the club lost out of the competition.

In the 2009/10 season, the club was last in the play-out round and had to be relegated.
