The Faba Forest Park is a forest area in the West African state of Gambia .

topography

The 567 hectare forest area is located in the Lower River Region in the Kiang West district and, like the other forest parks in Gambia, was established on January 1, 1954. The approximately 3700 meter long approximately 1800 meter wide area is located on the western side of the South Bank Road , Gambia's main highway, approximately 38 kilometers east of the city of Soma and 38 kilometers west of Bwiam .

Nearby, north of the Faba Forest Park, is the Kiang West National Park, established in 1987 .
