Fabian Blum (born March 7, 1995 ) is a Swiss wheelchair athlete . He is active in the starting class T52 in sprint and medium-distance competitions.

Life

Fabian Blum was born in 1995 and lives in Pfaffnau . He was active as an artistic gymnast until 2014, but fell on his head in a double somersault and has been from 5th / 6th Cervical vertebrae paralyzed downwards. Blum has been a wheelchair athlete since his accident and trains with Paul Odermatt at the Swiss Paraplegic Center in Nottwil . At the European Athletics Championships in Berlin 2018 he won bronze over 1500 meters. Blum is qualified for the World Athletics Championships for the disabled in Dubai in 2019 .
