Fabien Lemoine (born March 16, 1987 in Fougères ) is a French football player . He has been in the professional squad of the French first division club FC Lorient since 2017 .
Career
society
Fabien Lemoine started playing football in 1993 in the youth of FC Stéphanais-Briçois . He then went to the youth department of AGL Fougères in 1999 . Only a year later, Lemoine was drawn into the youth of the first division club Stade Rennes . For the 2007/08 season he was pulled up to the professional squad. He made his professional debut on January 13, 2008, when he was in the starting eleven against Olympique Marseille on matchday 20 and was replaced by Olivier Thomert in the 77th minute . In the course of the season Lemoine conquered a regular place. At the end of the season they finished sixth and were thus qualified for the third round of the UI Cup .
Lemoine made his European debut on July 19, 2008, when he was in the starting eleven in the third-round first leg of the UI Cup against Tawrija Simferopol . It was used throughout the game. In the 2008/09 season Lemoine reached the finals of the French cup competition with Stade Rennes . Lemoine and the favored Stade Rennes lost the purely Breton final 1: 2 against the second division team EA Guingamp . In the following time he was fixed and reached places with Rennes in the upper middle of the table.
In the summer break of 2011, Lemoine moved to first division rivals AS Saint-Étienne , where he also kept a place in the first team. He was able to maintain this during the following seasons.
National team
Lemoine played his first and only international match for France's U-21 national team on August 19, 2008 when he came on as a substitute for Yohan Cabaye against Slovenia at the start of the second half .
