Fabien Rohrer

Fabien "Fäbu" Rohrer (* 1. September 1975 in Bern ) is a former Swiss Snowboard - Freestyle -Fahrer.

Rohrer achieved his first success with first place at the ISF World Series in Pila , Italy , where he got a wild card . After that, he dropped out of school and became a professional snowboarder. In 1996 he won the Air & Style Contest in Innsbruck and became European champion in the halfpipe. In 1997 FIS world champion . At the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano , he was fourth in the halfpipe. He played his last competition in 2001.

Rohrer starred in the 2001 film “Das Fähnlein der Seven Upright” and in 2006 in the docu-soapDer Match ”.

He is the father of a boy (* 2011) and lives with his partner in Münsingen .
