Gressan is an Italian commune in the Autonomous Region of the Aosta Valley .
Gressan has 3375 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) and is located at an altitude of 645 m above sea level. M. on the right side of the Dora Baltea . The village of Pila belongs to the community at an altitude of 1800 m.

Gressan was probably made around 24 BC. Under the name Fundus Gratianus . But it was not until the Middle Ages that the first permanent settlements developed around the permanent houses. The parish church in Gressan was mentioned as early as 1184.
The neighboring municipalities are Aosta , Aymavilles , Charvensod , Cogne , Jovençan and Sarre .
