Valsavarenche describes both a high valley in the Graian Alps and the Italian municipality in the autonomous region of Aosta Valley that extends over this valley . The community has 173 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019), is located at an average altitude of 1540  m slm and has an area of ​​138 km². The highest point in the municipality is the Gran Paradiso (French: Grand-Paradis ) with 4061  m .

Valsavarenche consists of the districts Degioz, Bien, Lunis, Tignet, Eau-Roussex, Pont and Molère. The neighboring municipalities are Aymavilles , Ceresole Reale (TO), Cogne , Introd , Noasca (TO), Rhêmes-Notre-Dame , Rhêmes-Saint-Georges and Villeneuve .
