Rhêmes-Notre-Dame is an Italian commune in the autonomous region of Aosta Valley . The community has 84 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) and is located at an average altitude of 1725 m above sea level. NN and has a size of 86 km². The highest point in the municipality is La Tsanteleina at 3605 m.

Rhêmes-Notre-Dame consists of the districts Artalle, Brenand, Bruil (chef-lieu), Carré, Chanavey, Chaudanne, Oreiller, Pellaud, Pont and Thumel. The neighboring communities are called Ceresole Reale ( TO ), Rhêmes-Saint-Georges , Tignes (France), Val-d'Isère (France), Valgrisenche , Valsavarenche .

The scattered community of Rhêmes-Notre-Dame is located along the road that runs through the Rhêmes Valley , a side valley of the Aosta Valley. The municipality is on the edge of the Gran Paradiso National Park .

From the hamlet of Thumel you can hike to the Rifugio Gian Federico Benevolo refuge in about 1 hour and 40 minutes .
