Roisan is an Italian commune in the autonomous region of Aosta Valley .

Roisan has 1024 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) and is 935 m above sea level. M. in the Valpelline valley. This is a side valley of the Aosta Valley and extends from Aosta to the pass of the Great St. Bernard Pass .

The neighboring municipalities are Aosta , Doues , Gignod , Saint-Christophe and Valpelline . The municipality of Roisan consists of the districts (French hameaux ) Baravex, Blavy, Careybloz, Chambrette, Champapon, Champvillair Dessous, Champvillair Dessus, Chaumé, Fontillon, Clavallaz, Closellinaz, Crétaz, Gorrey, Ladret, Les Adrets, Martinet (chef-lieu ), Massinod, Moulin, Preil, Rhins, Pointier, Salé, Champ de Bau, Château, Chaviller, Chez Collin, Creusévy and Zatély.
