La Salle (about 1001 m above sea level) is an Italian municipality in the autonomous region of Aosta Valley in the Alps . It has 2040 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) and an area of ​​83 km². La Salle is on the orographic right side of the Dora Baltea .

The municipality belongs to the Unité des Communes valdôtaines Valdigne-Mont-Blanc , and is its main town. The neighboring municipalities are Avise , Courmayeur , La Thuile , Morgex and Saint-Rhémy-en-Bosses .
