Saint-Oyen is an Italian commune in the autonomous region of Aosta Valley . The community has 200 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019), lies on the orographic left side of the Dora Baltea at an average altitude of 1373  m slm and has a size of 9 km².

The neighboring municipalities are Bourg-Saint-Pierre (Switzerland), Étroubles , Gignod and Saint-Rhémy-en-Bosses .

Saint-Oyen is on the road to the Great St. Bernhard . Parts of the old Roman road Via Francigena can still be seen in the vicinity.

From 1939 to 1946 the village had the Italianized name of Sant 'Eugendo .
