Maturino Blanchet

Angelo Maturino Blanchet (born March 7, 1892 in Gressan , Kingdom of Italy , † November 9, 1974 in Saint-Pierre , Italian Republic ) was Bishop of Aosta in the Italian Aosta Valley .

Life

Angelo Maturino Blanchet was ordained a priest on June 29, 1921 for the Oblates of the Immaculate Virgin Mary . In 1946 he was from Pius XII. appointed Bishop of the Diocese of Aosta . During his episcopate he ordained 78 priests. 1968 was his resignation by Paul VI. surrendered, and he was appointed titular bishop of Limata .
