Fabio Trentini (born December 17, 1968 in Rome ) is an Italian music producer and bass player. He produced a. a. the guano apes .

At the age of thirteen Trentini learned to play the bass guitar. In his youth he played in several Italian new wave and jazz rock bands. In 1991 he moved to Göttingen in Lower Saxony.

In April 1994 he co-produced the Guano Apes and pre-produced their first album Proud Like a God . Together with Wolfgang Stach, Trentini produced the second album of the Guano Apes Don't Give Me Names in May 1999 . He also played bass on Marco Minnemann's projects Illegal Aliens and Comfortably Homeless.

In 2000 he worked with the Donots on their Pocketrock album , with Glow on their album Every Single Day and with New Rock Conference on the single Heal Yourself . In 2001 he spent a few weeks in Miraval Studios in France and Galaxy Studios in Belgium. Trentini worked on their solo album with Paddy Kelly and Marco Minnemann . In summer 2001 he produced the band LAW ( Life After Weekend ) and demos for the Donots and the Guano Apes.

In winter 2001/2002 he produced the Donots in the Horus Sound Studio, their album Amplify the Good Times . Between April and November 2002 he produced the third album by Guano Apes Walking on a Thin Line . Trentini also played bass for the Underwater Circus project and produced two songs for the band Uncle Ho . As a bass player, he worked with Marco Minnemann in the jazz rock band Broken Orange. He produced Black Milk's debut album Ultrawide that same year .

In the summer of 2003, Trentini went on a festival tour with the H-Blockx . He was also working on a pop-rock project called Disarmed. In November and December he produced the Donots' album Got the Noise .

Between 2004 and 2005 he worked again with the H-Blockx in the studio and live. Together they recorded the album No Excuses . During this time he also produced the Italian band Mas Ruido in the Dorian Gray Studios . In winter 2005/2006 he worked with Sasha as co-producer and bassist (LP Open Water ), in 2006 he mixed and co-produced with tuner their album Pole , and he continued to play bass for H-Blockx, especially in the studio (LP Open Letter to a Friend ). In 2007 Trentini left the H-Blockx, produced the Swiss pop-rock band Dada (ante portas) , worked with the founding members of the Guano Apes Dennis Poschwatta, Stefan Ude, Henning Rümenapp and USA singer Charles Simmons on the band iO, and played he bass for the metal band Subway to Sally (LP Bastard ). In the same year Trentini's solo project Moonbound came about .
