Fabrizio Moretti

Fabrizio "Fab" Moretti (born June 2, 1980 in Rio de Janeiro , Brazil ) is the drummer of the American indie rock band The Strokes . In addition, he founded together with Rodrigo Amarante from Los Hermanos and Binki Shapiro Little Joy , whose debut album was released in 2008.

Fabrizio Moretti was born in Rio de Janeiro to an Italian and a Brazilian. When he was four years old, he moved to New York City with his family . At school he met his future bandmates Nick Valensi and Julian Casablancas .

From 2002 to 2007 he was in a relationship with actress Drew Barrymore .
